About this release. Blue Note BLP 1544 US. Recorded on January 13, 1957. Thanks to Matt for the addition and snobb for the updates. Granted Hank Mobley has better LP's and all of those have two or more horns and here he tried to used Milt as his 2nd horn in theory should be good but now that leaves out all the horn line trade-off's Hank was the master of totally Out of Play and Bag's did his best to be the. bounce off guy for trades with Hank. Still all and all, a nice listen, just not that award winner LP everyone was hoped for. I love Bag's and I love Hank so I like it for just that. Lower Stratosphere and Mobley's Musings would be the two standout on this.
