Condition is the second studio album of British band Spectres, released on 10 March 2017 on the label Sonic Cathedral. It was tracked by Dominic Mitchison in Bristol and mastered by Mogwai and 65daysofstatic client free to Spectres Condition The Beginning Of An End, Rubber Plant and more. 9 tracks 48:53. Album 2017 9 Songs. 2017 Spectres under exclusive licence to Sonic Cathedral. More By their second album, Condition, the Bristol-based Spectres strip their noise rock sound back to the bare wires and torn-up insulation. Their previous album, Dying, had a layered, pummeling wall of guitars that attacked like a swarm of chain saws and songs that ground and charged like Loop at their best. This time out, the band has forsaken niceties like song structure, melody, and walls of sound in favor of elongated, almost formless pieces that sound the way a half-torn-down building looks. The pipes are exposed, the plaster is crumbling, and there are sparks spitting out of the outlets. Spectres Condition Sonic Cathedral. Spectres are fond of antagonising their audience. Fans in the vicinity of the bands renowned and ferocious live set will leave with agonised ear drums and sad souls, while unwitting shoppers who happen to be perusing the record shelves could be similarly discomfited by their album artwork. A mans agonised, desperate, drowning face graced the cover of their first full length, the aptly entitled Dying, and a contorted amalgam of human and fungus is seen on the cover of their new LP, Condition. Its fair to say that you can expect extremes of behaviour. Condition, 2017. The Beginning of an End, 05:02. Rubber Plant, 02:53. Composers: Spectres. Total duration:48 min. The Beginning of an End.
