Don’t waste your time with this overpriced GZ pressing. There are better pressings at better prices. The audio borders on shrill in places and never feels full.

Mine sounds really good except for static noise throughout possibly maybe, and I bought it new. The disc is very thin but sounds just as warm as the heavier ones. It will bend between your hands so be careful not to drop it.

A bendy one is less likely to break, heavyweight discs are more prone to be warped. Don't get fooled by the sales pitch that 180gram means better. It doesn't. My copy has no static noise, maybe try another copy, or get yours wet-cleaned might help.

This L.P. is great. I own a copy of this limited edition L.P. The record weighs in at 128grams This is an ideal weight for vinyl and less likely to be warped than the faddish 180 (plus) grams. A record weighing more does not sound any better, that is all down to the mastering before it gets to the vinyl stage. I purchase lots of new records and the 180gram discs are nearly always warped. Personally I would be happy with all records being 120gram. The outer and inner sleeve of my copy weighed together is 83 gram. (no record/no shrinkwrap or plastic sleeve) The print is very good, and the photograph of Björk on the front is intentionally blurred towards the edges to imply 'movement.' It is a common photographic technique. The text on the sleeve and inner is sharp and clear. It looks great and I have no problems with it. The sound quality is clean, full ranging with masses of bass, less clinical than the c.d. version. I find the vinyl record playback gives Björks voice more timbre, and the soundstage is lively. My favourite work of the wonder that is Björk.

Complicated answer... yes for Vespertine, Medulla and Volta (first generation artwork, better sound than the originals), no for Debut, Post and Homogenic (same pressing as originals but copied artwork), no to Biophilia (artwork is fine but one disc is unlistenably crackly on all reports I've seen).

This LP has some issues. The high end is so sharp and tinny. It's kind of painful to listen to on some songs. Very disappointed. As others have said, the vinyl is about the thinnest you could get before being a flexi. Not sure if that has anything to do with the sound quality but it was also kind of alarming. This'll be the only one in the series I purchase. If you can find it and have the money, go with the One Little Indian reissues from 2008. They sound incredible!

Love the record. First time owning it. Noticed a bit of sibilance on most of the tracks. Not enough to ruin the experience. Going to compare the mp3 and see if it is in the mastering not the pressing.

All the artwork here has been reproduced from the original covers rather than being printed first generation, but the reproduction is for some reason much higher quality than it is on the Homogenic repress. It's near-impossible to tell on this LP that the text hasn't been typeset from scratch, whereas the Homogenic artwork looks almost photocopied.
